Young Actor/Playwright
I am an enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated playwright and actor. I have high hopes and set my goals higher. While I am always striving to improve my skills and talents, I am also eager to learn new skills constantly. Eventually, I intend on learning how to effectively produce and direct. The theatre world is too expansive to not try everything!
While I explore and experiment, I maintain a close and intimate relationship with my two primary skills: playwrighting and acting.
My writing style is as eclectic as my desire to learn new skills; I often write with a youthful edge, but prefer the subtlety of Surrealism. For me, playwrighting is not just a story, but a window into another reality. The characters are living, breathing people with their own stories that need to be told. Their trials and their triumphs need to be real. I want you to care about even the most insignificant flea on stage.
As an actor, I see myself as flexible. I am often cast as the soft-spoken underdog, however my confidence as an actor is growing daily and with that confidence, the soft-spoken type-cast is drifting further and further away.
My love for acting has done nothing but grow since I was first introduced to it in 2005, my Sophomore year of high school, when I accepted the roll of Bob Barking in the musical Me and My Girl. I have been in love with theatre ever since.
I take pride in the work I have done and the work I know I am capable of.
